 How it works:
You pay for produce ahead of time in return for a bonus 10% retail value in produce.  We, the farmers, get the cash ahead of time to pay for things like the seeds and amendments for growing the vegetables, grain for the chickens, hay for the horses, bags to pack the produce in, machine parts, tools, and money to pay the electrical bill to run our walk-in cooler and freezers.  Together we share the bounty of the season, friends, and family as well as the risk of weather, unexpected events, and pests.

We have two different share options available, (pre)Boxed Shares and Debit-Style Shares.              
                             
Debit Style Share Info: 
For use at our farmstand and Lewiston and Yarmouth Farmers' Markets
We know that you may want more flexibility in your produce selection week to week so we leave it up to you to spend your money on exactly what you want!
Debit Share:  pay  $100 and we give you $110 of credit to use at our farm stand and farmers' markets to buy  vegetables throughout the summer. Buy as many shares as you think you will need, in $100.00 increments, and spend them throughout the 2017 season while our farmstand is open, from May through December.

Lewiston Summer and Winter Farmers' Markets: Sundays, 10am-1pm
Yarmouth Farmers' Market: Thursdays 3-6 June-November
     
Boxed Share Info
A Large Share costs $350 and will feed a family of 4 (or two hearty veggie eaters) over the course of the season.  You will receive an average of $24.00 of produce per pickup for a total of $385 of produce for the summer.

A Small Share costs $175 and will feed two people over the course of the season. You will receive an average of $12 of produce per pickup for a total of $192.50 of produce for the summer.  

New! SNAP customers receive 1/2 priced shares! We are excited to be part of a 3 year program that works with SNAP customers to pay for half their CSA farm share. You can use this to pay for a box or debit style share!

Pickups are at the farm every Wednesday 4pm-6pm. The share runs for 16 weeks, June-October (*If this time does not work for you we can work out another pick-up time, but we strongly encourage you to try to make it at the designated time). 
You can also pick up your share at the Lewiston Farmers' Market on Sundays, 10am-1pm.

More Boxed CSA Share Info: 
Rather than giving you boxes, we ask that you bring a couple of reusable shopping bags, baskets, or your own crate/box to fill.  At the pickup, you can fill your own bags with the appropriate amount of each vegetable.  A few days before each pickup, you will receive an e-mail reminder along with a list of what you should expect in your share and a few recipes we like to use for the vegetables in the share that week.  Of course, if you want extra of anything in your share, you can purchase more to supplement your share.
In case of a snowstorm, we will arrange a pick up at a different time and notify you via e-mail.  If you can’t make it, we can work out a different time, but do strongly encourage CSA members to try to make it at the pick up time.  You can always notify us and have someone else come pick it up for you if that is more convenient.
